Today's verse is Ezekiel 3:20-21
Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Again, that is not quite the same as likewise, but all the same, what came before is important. However, what we are seeing here is the duty and the responsibility of the Watchman, one that God has set to warn of the dangers to come, and the way to escape. Paul has described another office for our time, that of Ambassador, which is given to all that are reconciled by Jesus Christ, which has the same duty, and the same responsibility. So, as the Spirit gives you boldness, be Bold, that the Wicked may be Warned, and that the Righteous may Repent, lest when you meet the Judge you will be found wanting, with nothing to give to the One that died for you. Amen.
