Today's verse is John 14:4
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Where is Jesus now? Have we not been told that he is now seated at the right hand of the Father? Have we not also been told that while he is there, he is making intercession for us? Now what is that way? Throughout his ministry he had always made reference as to what his purpose on Earth was, even to how he would suffer for our sins. Did he not say that if we destroyed the temple (his body) he would raise it up in three days. Even So, as Jesus prepared the way for us, by going to the Father through the Cross, so should we look to that Cross, trusting in that finished work, that when he calls us, we might follow after, evermore to dwell wherever he is. Amen.
