Today's verse is Ezekiel 9:4
And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and oset a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
Today, do you sigh because the values outlined in the Word of God are ignored? Does it pain you that babies are killed even before they are born? What of the rampant immorality that is praised and counted as normal and wholesome? Or the thefts that are allowed, because they are just misunderstood, or even worse, they are just taking what is due them? How easy is to to find someone that will tell you the truth, that will call what God hates an abomination? If so, as it was in Ezekiel’s day, so it is today, God sees, God takes notice, and you will escape the worst of his Wrath. Now, to escape his wrath altogether, one must not just sigh, but repent, and recognize what Jesus Christ as already done for you, having paid the price for your sin, and risen again to receive all that will come to him into his Glory. Amen.
To God be the Glory
