God Keeps His Own

 

Today's verse is Revelation 7:3

Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 

    In Ezekiel we witnessed God direct those that sigh, that is, are inwardly hurt by the wickedness about them, to be marked, before God sent his judgment upon those that did the wickedness. Here again we see God placing a mark, or seal upon those that are to be spared, or not touched by his judgment. We are told in another place that God knows how to deliver his own when he makes his displeasure known, because of them them despise him. So, Today, amidst all the turmoil that we see, place your Trust in the God that made heaven and earth, and seek out his Righteousness provided to us through Jesus Christ his Son. Then as he spared Lot, from the destruction of Sodom, and brought Israel out of Egypt, or lifted up Daniel in Babylon, not to forget his protection of Jeremiah, so too will he spare you, from his coming wrath. Amen.
