Today's verse is Ezekiel 20:38
And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
First and foremost, know that this promise is to Israel. God will destroy the rebels of Israel and will bring forth those that are faithful to him, back into the Land that he had promised them. That all might know that he is the Lord. That is that he is God. That he is Jehovah. That he is the I Am. Yet, Jesus tells us that he will judge the Nations in the end, that he will separate the sheep from the goats and will destroy all that oppose him and refuse to follow his way. Here is my question to you? How do you wish to know that God is the Lord? Would you rather know his Goodness? Or his Wrath? This is your, yea, our choice. Jesus said we can fall upon him and be broken, or He will fall upon us, and therefore be ground to powder. In the last two years we have already but a taste of his wrath, let us repent and turn to him, lest we see his destruction in full, as he will do to all that refuse him. Amen.
To God be the Glory
