The Most Important Question.

 

Today's verse is Job 35:10

     But none saith, Where is God my maker,

      Who giveth songs in the night;

    Are you Oppressed? Or are you the Oppressor? It is a common thing today to paint any and all as the victim. Solomon has declared that both the oppressed, and the oppressor have one thing in common: They have no comforter! Yet God himself has called out and given invitation to all that are distressed: that if they will call upon him, he will deliver them out of all their troubles. Another testifies that there is none righteous, there is none that seeketh after God, Yet God has promised that through the Cross of Jesus Christ, he will draw all men unto him. So where are you in all of this? Have you rejected his call, or will you accept it, and find the Joy that he provides even in the deepest night? Selah [Consider your response.] Amen.
