Today's verse is Zechariah 8:16-17
These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.
Yesterday, we saw Men with hate swear to their own hurt if they did not destroy another, thinking they were doing God a service. Yet, today, we see what God wants of us, do you see the contrast? Truth and Righteousness are to prevail, no one is to be judged according to lies of others, that they might gain from their neighbors' downfall. Peace among men is the way of God, and if a man is to be judged, he is to be judged by truth, and by righteousness established by God’s Word. Selah (Consider this.) Amen.
