Today's verse is Isaiah 42:24
Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers?
Did not the Lord, he against whom we have sinned?
For they would not walk in his ways,
Neither were they obedient unto his law.
Israel is the people God has chosen to bear, and as they were disobedient he gave them over to the profane, to those that would take what is not theirs, because they refused to follow the way of God. What then would he do to us, and we reject his every kindness? Over and over again those that reject God look upon the wickedness in the world and wonder where is God? Not understanding that God as given them over unto that wickedness, for the darkness of their own hearts. That this is the most common form of Judgment God uses to those that reject him. Are you tired of such wickedness? Repent, turn to the God that made Heaven and Earth, who took upon himself the sins of the whole world, including yours, then tell your neighbor what you have found, then as we repent, God will repent, and turn away those that refuse to everlasting destruction. Selah [Think carefully on this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
