No Other God

Today's verse is Isaiah 44:6
     Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel,
      And his redeemer the LORD of hosts;
      I am the first, and I am the last;
      And beside me there is no God.

    There are those that mock, saying, “Who Created God?” Yet here we see God bearing witness of himself, for there is no other, that no other can compare to him! There is nothing before him, for he alone is eternal, having no beginning and no end. Yet here we see the Father, and we see the Son, and already the Son has be declared as our Redeemer. Already, has God planned out his redemptive act. Already, does God see his Son on the cross, which he purposed as we are told elsewhere, that he was crucified from the foundation of the world, before Adam ever was created, he sought the means of our redemption. Who for his own reasons, knew we would be wayward, yet in his wisdom, considered suffering in our place worth it, to bring us back to him. Selah [Ponder this.] Amen.

To God be the Glory
