Today's verse is Luke 22:19
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Today, in the United States, we are observing Thanksgiving, a time set aside to give Thanks for all that God has done for us, or has allowed us to do for ourselves and others. At times, in our fallen natures, we have trouble recognizing the things we ought to be thankful for. At such times, we can start by recognizing the greatest thing God has ever done for us, and remember that for our sins, our iniquity, Jesus Christ suffered on the Cross that we might be forgiven, that we might escape the Wrath of God, of which the terrible things we see today, are but a small token, and should be seen as an opportunity to repent, that God’s hand might be turned aside for another day. Selah [Consider this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
