Where Do You Find Security

Today's verse is Isaiah 31:1
     Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help;
      And stay on horses,
      And trust in chariots, because they are many;
      And in horsemen, because they are very strong;
      But they look not unto the Holy One of Israel,
      Neither seek the LORD!

    Here is a very important question! From where do you find your security? When you are in trouble, from where do you seek help? Do you seek it from earthly things? Your security system? The Police? What of the weapons you own? Are you confident of your own strength to keep yourself safe? The trouble is, none of these things are secure, though they may be seen, the security they offer is truly empty! The only security is the one that cannot be seen by the eye, but still can be seen if one is willing to even look. God, creator of Heaven and Earth, is just waiting for any and all that will Trust in him, whatever the trouble, whatever might cause you a fright, turn to him, First; and he will be your refuge in the storm. Give to him the outcome (that is let him determine what is the right outcome) and you will find that he will bless you beyond your wildest imagination. Selah [Think on this.] Amen.
