The City Abraham Looked For

Today's verse is Isaiah 60:10
And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls,
And their kings shall minister unto thee:
For in my wrath I smote thee,
But in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

In this verse, and its context, we see the result of the Judgement of God upon the Earth, after the terrible destruction, after all those that refuse him are dealt with, and after they have been throughly punished, we see the bounty of the Lord, we see security and safety, we see all that are left, living in peace, giving praise unto God, and blessing the people God had chosen. This is what Heaven looks like when God brings it down; when he dwells himself upon the Earth with his people. This is that Utopia that all are looking for. Amen.
