Today's verse is Psalm 74:16
The day is thine, the night also is thine:
Thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
This Psalm ends with a Prayer to God to Forget not the voice of thine [God’s] enemies: for The tumult of those that rise up against thee [Again God] increaseth continually. Even now, can we not see the same thing? Yet, even so, let us remember the promise of this day’s verse. For whether it is day or night, God that created the Heaven and the Earth is still God of all, and he is still active in the world. So, let us not forget what he has shown us in the light, so that as we find we must walk in the dark, we can still trust in him. Amen.
