Today's Verse is James 3:8
But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
It does not take long to see the truth of this verse by the things we hear spoken by ourselves and those around us, many of us not knowing that for every idle word we must give an account. How many of us even remember those Idle words which we speak? But God knows as he has heard. Yet he has commanded us, If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God[.] For if we allow the Lord God speak through us, we have his promise that his Word will not return to him Void. Therefore will you join with me as I pray as David did: Let the Words of my mouth, /And the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, /O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Amen.
