Giving No Offence

 

Today's Verse is 2 Corinthians 6:3

Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: 

    In another place we are given this plea: that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Now, also consider the humbleness of our Lord and Saviour in his own surrender unto the Father: The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth the Son likewise. In as much as we are to be conformed into the image of the Son, this is the level of surrender we are to aspire, and as we come closer to accomplishing this, we shall find ourselves obeying the injunction presented before us today. Amen.
