Today' verse is Psalm 119:153
Consider mine affliction, and deliver me:
For I do not forget thy law.
As a child of God, do you know affliction? As God’s Word is true, having truly trusted in his Son for Salvation, I dare say you do! Can you say with this Psalmist that you do not forget God’s law, or are you as the Children of Israel as they fled Egypt, murmuring and complaining at each offence? The God that cannot lie delivered them from each and every trouble that came upon them. So also, will he do for us. Therefore, let us go to him with our troubles, and seek in him the solution, waiting on him for the answer, and the direction we ought to take. Did he not promise that he would be with us, never leaving us, nor forsaking his own? Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
