Today's verse is Jonah 4:1
But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
Why was Jonah so angry? Was it not that God is Good? And that he allowed that wicked city Nineveh to repent. What of you, are you willing to see the worst of the wicked people that surround you to repent and know the Salvation of God? Did not Paul tell us that we know all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose? So, here is an example of that. Yet, Jonah, here, appears that he has lost his reward for the work God did through him. Again, What of you? Do you wish to see God spare, or condemn? Is he not willing that all should come to repentance, and to the knowledge of the Truth. Selah [Think on these things.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
