Seeing God Keep His Promise

Today's Verse is Exodus 19:4
Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

As we have seen in Psalms, so too here we have a call to remember what God has done. For the Israelites, we have an example of what Paul has described in Romans: And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And Patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearth by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. And so, Israel readily agreed to God’s invitation, even though many times afterward we have seen them stumble, and seeing God deal with each of those we can take what Paul further proclaimed to heart: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. For what we have seen God promise, time and again we see he has kept those promises faithfully that we can conclude that by two immutable things we have hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began[.] Will you take God at his Word, and receive the Gift he has prepared through Jesus Christ, to Repent of your sin and be changed by the Power of his Spirit? Amen.

To God be the Glory
