Today's Verse is Leviticus 26:12
And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
Often scoffers when considering the redemption that God offers, they only look at the stick they are seeking to escape, mocking God’s offer even because of that stick, never considering the carrots, yes carrots, and not carrot. First obeying God’s command have merit on their own, for they are given for our benefit and not for our hurt. Just as not touching a hot stove, avoids being burnt. Then beyond that, God gives additional benefits, such as our labours not being in vain, but He will provide abundance and safety and valor. Then to top it off, the greatest carrot of them all, we shall have fellowship with God Himself, and He with us. But since it has already been proved that we have strayed, attempted to go our own way, He has given us a path to all these benefits through Jesus Christ. Will you, therefore, Repent and accept His gift of redemption that you may Know the Joy of walking with Him?
To God be the Glory
