Today's Verse is Numbers 3:10
And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
Truly, at this point, I am wondering how many times during this time through the Bible, I will be called upon to point out the Holiness of God! I do know though that it cannot be emphasized enough. From the giving of the Law, until Jesus Christ died upon the Cross, only a Priest could enter into the tabernacle, and only the High Priest could enter the Holy of Holies, and that only once a year. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Making it so even the stranger (one who previously did not know God) can come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. All of this only by Jesus for some, and others through Jesus, that all that will, can be spared from the Judgment to come. Amen.
To God be the Glory
