The Vanity Of Opposing God

Today's verse is Psalm 21:11
For they intended evil against thee:
They imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

Look at those that rail against HATE, what, or more accurately who is it that they are railing against? Is it not God, the one that made them for his pleasure? Why do they rail? Is it not because their own conscience speaks against them, so they shout the louder to drown it out? Consider the testimony of David in the verse above, of what he has observed: the desire of the unrighteous, and their impotence to carry it out. No wonder they are so angry. Yet, the Gospel is still available, and it still has power to save. We just might be surprised by who will hear. But know this, God will be Glorified by those that hear not, as those that hear. Amen.

To God be the Glory
Scott
