Today's verse is Acts 16:9
And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
In the Previous verses, Paul, and those with him, were being hindered, as testified, by the spirit to go where they thought best. There will be times when the things we think to do, no matter how we try, seem to keep failing, every way we try to go, we find ourselves hindered. At such a time, we need to do as David did, and seek the counsel of the Lord our God. In the verse above, it was discovered that God had a plan for Paul, and when they followed that plan, they had great success, even if they needed to suffer a bit to accomplish it. What of you? Are you on the path you have set for yourself? Or are you on the path God has directed you to? We have God’s promise that if we seek him, and acknowledge him in all our ways, he will direct our paths. Amen.
To God be the Glory
