Today's verse is Psalm 06:5
For all the gods of the nations are idols:
But the LORD made the heavens.
What do you trust? Do you trust the one that made the heavens? Or do you trust something that was made, or made up, by you or another? Even where Christ is named idols exist, though they may not be recognized as such, this God abhors. For we that know him, know that God cannot be contained in a image, or even in a building, but we have his Word, and we know that when we gather together in his Name, He is there. We that have received his Son, and the gift of forgiveness made possible by the Cross, know that he will never leave nor forsake us, though we often fail him, he will never fail us, for he will finish what he started in us, when he comes to catch up his own, even as he prepares the earth for his Return. Amen.
To God be the Glory
