Today's verse is Job 3:23
Why is light given to a man whose way is hid,
And whom God hath hedged in?
What a question! Job was truly in despair. In his complaint he calls light vain, and the hedge Satan complained about, that kept Job safe, a trap. So can we all, when we loose sight of God, as we focus on the events around us. It is at such times as this that we must seek the face of the God that created Heaven and Earth, and chose to Trust Him. This is the bedrock principal. Whatever happens, whatever comes, whether good, or bad, or even horrendous, “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.” Settle yourself on this, then with longsuffering, wait on the Lord your God, and see what he will do. As recorded in God’s Word over and over again, to many others who did Trust in the Lord, God never failed a single one of them, yet destroyed all others. So be stayed upon the Lord, and he will not fail you either. Amen.
To God be the Glory
