Today's verse is 2 Samuel 5:2
Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.
We see here a Great Day! Israel woke up and recognized the Word of the Lord that was spoken by Samuel unto David. They did not come to it immediately, but they finally obeyed it. Even to making it there motivation for bringing David to them and making him their King. A Great day indeed. Yet, here is the warning, whether you recognize God’s Word or not, God will bring it to pass. If you obey it, you will be blessed. The Word of God is full of those that were blessed just because they recieved but a part of God’s Word. But, if you reject, or even worse ignore the Word of the Lord, none of its blessing will you find, but rather all of the curses. Yet, As God had said, so it will be done. Selah [Think on this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
