A Shield In Trouble

Today's verse is 2 Samuel 22:31
     As for God, his way is perfect;
      The word of the LORD is tried:
      He is a buckler to all them that trust in him.

    The scoffer and the fool, rail at the terrible things that happen about them and to them, blaming God for all the evil in the world. And God openly takes the credit for all of this. So is this verse true? Without a doubt, YES! David tried God, and found that he could trust him. David found that when he transgresses, he was chastened, but as he trusted God, depended upon solely upon him, God was dependable, and even in times of chastening, God gave grace, and blessed David far more then David could imagine. And so much more, when chastening was not as necessary. So as truly God was a shield to David, even protecting David from the worst of himself, as well as those that rose up against him. God will protect all that those that choose to trust him. Amen.
