God's People Remembered

Today's verse is Isaiah 14:1
For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob,
      And will yet choose Israel,
And set them in their own land:
And the strangers shall be joined with them,
And they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

I want to focus on those first two lines, for it is very important to remember, and never forget. Though today, God’s people may seem to be forgotten (speaking of Israel, but not only them, but all that have been given the faith of Abraham) of this we may be confident: God never forgets his own! Though today, it may seem as if they are left to their own devises, they are not. In fact; their time is set, when God shall lift them out of the mire, and set them upon the dry ground, in a higher place, where all that love God can share in the Blessings God gives them. Amen.

To God be the Glory
