Today's verse is Deuteronomy 1:11
(The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)
Israel as they wandered in and through the wilderness, having lost much, gained so much more. For their sin and hardheartedness they suffered and all that refused to believe God perished, yet their children survived and in greater numbers than when they left Egypt. As the example they gave us, we can learn from, as we forsake the way our God shews us, we shall suffer, yet he does not forsake us, but if we accept him and his way, we shall not miss any of his blessings, and even as we might suffer hardship, he will from that make us stronger, yea even richer in ways we cannot imagine that he might be Glorified in us, and we in him. Amen.
To God be the Glory
