A Present Help In Trouble

 

Today's verse is Psalm 46:1

     God is our refuge and strength,

      A very present help in trouble.

  If God is my refuge, and if God is a present help in trouble, Why does this happen, or why did that happen? I don’t know, but after being in God’s family now for over 36 years, I have been subjected to this, and I have suffered that, yet looking back I do see that my God has been a present help in trouble, He has been my refuge, and he most defiantly has been my strength. When in the trouble, look not at the trouble, but look to your God, examining yourself, when necessary repenting, letting your requests be known to him, and above all Trust in him even above your understanding and you will see once you are on the other side, that he has carried you through. Selah [Think on this.] Amen.
