What Cause?

Today's verse is I Samuel 17:29
And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?

“Is there not a cause?” This is a thing that is not widely understood today. The matter of giving oneself wholly over to a cause bigger than oneself, for which one is willing and able to sacrifice all, for that cause. Today, in the movies, Family is placed above any other cause, but Jesus has declared that there is a greater, for which it is best if we appear to hate our family, compared to our devotion to serving the one that made Heaven and Earth. So what is your cause, and for this cause are you willing to give it your all? Selah [think about this.] Amen.
