God answers prayer

Today's verse is I Samuel 1:27
For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and all that in them is, hears all of our prayers. There may be reason he must deny them, such as when we regard iniquity  in our hearts. But when we come to him humbly, recognizing his Supremacy, even our whims would be his delight to answer. Hannah’s prayer was not a simple whim though, but a heart felt grievance which she brought to the Lord God the Master, and he heard her, and granted her her request. Is there a issue you have that you know must be resolved? Bring it before God, and as Hannah had done, put it in God’s hand, and just watch what God does with it. (Consider the Ministry of Samuel.) Amen.
