The Way of Righteousness

Today's verse is Genesis 15:6
And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Here we have the means by which a sinful man might be considered righteous in the eyes of a Holy God. That we take God at his Word and we believe his promises, starting with the promise of redemption through the Cross of Jesus Christ. When we do this, it is by this simple act that God removes and covers our sin, and starts his work in us to make us into an image of his Son. So if you have not yet done this, do not delay, but do so now. And if ye have, rest in him, and work out the new man his is creating in you. Amen.
