A Great God

Today's verse is Psalm 145:3
     Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
      And his greatness is unsearchable.

We truly have a great God. Today, I reread Jacob's encounter and reunion with his brother Esau. In the past, I had thought that Jacob's actions surrounding that encounter where not of faith, but now that I have had a similar experience (having full faith, in what God had told me, with no evidence of it in reality) Jacob I believe fully trusted in God, and reacted to the situation he faced based upon that trust. And God did not disappoint, nor will he disappoint when we place our trust in him. Let us therefore, as he commanded, Watch. Watch for him to fulfill all that he has said he would do. Amen.
