A God That Hears

Today's verse is Psalm 4:1
     Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness:
      Thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress;
      Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

When Rebecca wondered why she was having distress while carrying Esau and Jacob, not knowing that she was carrying twins, She sought her answer from the Lord God. When we are in distress, we have a God that we can go to for answers, and not only answers, but for a solution. Such is our God that he takes care for all that follow and serve him, even to the saving of their souls, and even more beyond--that which cannot even be imagined. Therefore, let us take our cares to him that loves us, and seek to follow his council, and so shall we be blessed. Amen
