There Is an End

Today's verse is James 5:11
Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Not only is it that Job is to be considered, but consider also such as Nebuchadnezzar and his parting statement in scripture:
And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?  . . .  Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
So whatsoever it is that you might be facing, forget not that God is God over all the earth, turn to him, trust in him, give him all your concerns, and do as he commands, and in the end as he is glorified in you, he also will impart to you a small part of that glory, and small as it might be; it will be more than you can imagine. Selah [think about that.] Amen.

To God be the Glory
