Suffering With Christ
Today's verse is I Peter 4:12-13
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
Today we live in a world in which sin reigns, because of this those that follow after Christ will be reviled, hated and despised, and not only that but also our own sins will make necessary the fiery furnace to burn away that sinful dross. But in all of this, our Saviour gives us opportunity to share in his sufferings, possibly even when we do not know how. And in sharing in his sufferings as Paul testified we can share also in his inheritance, being made joint heirs with him. So as we travel through the troubles and turmoils of this life, rejoice and look up to the King and remember what he as done for you and endure for one more day, and tomorrow do the same till his deliverance shall come. Amen
To God be the Glory
