God is in Control
Today's verse is Habakkuk 3:19
The LORD God is my strength,
And he will make my feet like hinds’ feet,
And he will make me to walk upon mine high places.
To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
The prophet Habakkuk, in this book sees the sin of Israel, and he sees the coming judgment of Israel, by the hand of an even more wicked people, and wonders where is the justice in this? And here is his concluding thought. What Habakkuk learned in all of this, is that God is in control whatever may be happening, and that each thing that occurs, has a purpose in God's plan, which will lead the most that will come to him, to him, and leave all else with no excuses, but that God is God, and what he does is righteous. And those that trust in him, can say as the prophet does here, That God is his strength, and in the end we shall walk with God --the high places, or as the song says, "Lord, plant my feet on higher ground." Amen.
To God be the Glory
