A New Start
Today's verse is Revelation 21:1
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
As we celebrate the New Year coming, we have a tradition to count it as an opportunity to have a new beginning. A time to count the problems and failures as a thing of the past, and to turn over as it were, a new leaf. This is actually a looking forward to when God shall make all things new. A new Heaven, and a new Earth, in which none of troubles and trials caused by our sins shall not be a part. For our sins (if we have trusted Christ) shall be no more. Neither will those that sin be found in that place. The choice, however, is made today. In whom will you trust, yourself, or Jesus Christ. Selah [Think about that.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
