Today's Verse is 2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
There are those that would say that this promise is only given to Israel, and that Gentiles, even those who are part of the body of Christ have no part in it. Yet, through Paul God has said, For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. In another place, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile And even before the Cross, God’s purpose for Israel was as a Testament to all peoples of the God that Created Heaven and Earth, and that if any Nation should follow the design God had given Israel, He would bless them in a similar way. So, even now, we all, whichever Nation we are Of, have this promise. For all who have been made Sons of God by receiving Him that was made Flesh that He might take our place when He Died upon the Cross, and are now also Called: His People, If we also Humble ourselves, and Pray, and Seek his face and Turn from our wicked ways (Repent), so will God hear from heaven, and forgive our sins, and will heal our lands (whichever land [Nation] that may be.) Amen.
To God be the Glory
