Today's Verse is Proverbs 4:2
For I give you good doctrine,
Forsake ye not my law.
It is amazing at the things we can discover as we seek to understand God through His Word. Solomon is instructing his son (is it just one of them) even as he also testified that David taught him, and he (they) did so on a personal basis, even one on one. Has not Paul also instructed Timothy? Even as he admonished him to hold to sound doctrine. Therefore, let us also seek out the doctrine which can be found by the study of God’s Word as we have been told: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. But as we now see through a glass darkly, and thus do not understand all mysteries, and until we do, let us not forget to: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; /And lean not unto thine own understanding. /In all thy ways acknowledge him, /And he shall direct thy paths. Amen.
