Today's Verse is Matthew 15:18
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
When you speak, are you showing others the depravity of your heart? Truly we know that the heart is desperately wicked above all, yet by this heart we are to Trust in the Lord. So when you speak, do others see your Trust in God, or do they see the sin that is hidden in all of us, ready to come forth to the destruction of ourselves and all that are about us? Therefore, Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. Amen.
