Today's Verse is Psalm 53:4
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge?
Who eat up my people as they eat bread:
They have not called upon God.
In another place we are told of those that refuse God, Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. As we look today, we see those that have fully rejected the God that made them, and as the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge they thinking they know are blinded by their lack ready to stumble into the ditch, waiting to be utterly destroyed. Then there are those, recognizing that there is something greater than them, seek after it imperfectly missing the mark, hoping that they themselves can of their own strength to be pleasing to the Great I Am, whom they still do not know, also set to be destroyed. Then there are those that to one degree or another, have entered in through the strait gate and to one degree or another follow the one that died for them, giving them Life through or by his Resurrection, but how many of us will receive a full reward, because we have wholly followed after with a perfect Heart? Yet we have this promise: The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: /And he delighteth in his way. /Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: /For the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. And again, the Apostle Paul assures us: God is able to make [us] stand. Amen.
