The Answer To "What About The Evil In The World?"

 

Today's Verse is Ecclesiastes 5:8

If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

    I ask before I comment, do you see the hope contained in this verse? It is without doubt that evil appears to reign in this present world, and those that would deny God use it as their premise to reject him. But what is the answer of God presented here by the Preacher? Marvel not at the matter. Why? Because God sees, and while he currently bides his time (His longsuffering at work) we can be confident that all must give an account before him. Will you be ready? Consider therefore, the testimony of Paul: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. Wherefore, speak up, and proclaim the wonderful news that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel. Amen.
