Today's Verse is Ecclesiastes 3:18
I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
It is often asked, Why did God allow that? Or, Why did God let this happen? One of the reasons, perhaps not the greatest reason, but still one of the reasons, is so as we see here, that without him, we are nothing, even as the beasts which perish and are no more. One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever. It is for the pleasure of God that we have been created, and it is for his Purpose we have been raised up. And even as backward as it may seem to us, He takes pleasure in the death of his Saints [who shall be evermore in his presence,] yet the wicked, who hate him, he hates their death [For then they shall evermore be separated from him.] So, will you today embrace the fullness that can only be found in God (as scary as that is) that you might be found in peace with him. Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
