Today's Verse is 1 Timothy 5:17
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
When Paul first wrote to the Corinthians he admonished them with this thought: If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? Therefore, consider those whom you count as your Pastors and teachers in the things pertaining to the Lord and his Word, and give to them, even as they have blessed you by their instruction of the Word of God. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And the labourer is worthy of his reward. Amen.
