As We Wait . . .

 

Today's Verse is 1 Timothy 4:13

Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 

    We now know that Paul will not be returning until he returns with Jesus Christ, and we that still live, will meet him in the air, even as we are caught up to meet Christ in the air. Until then, we have the same exhortation that he had given to Timothy. We are to read. Now, while reading other works may, and probably are included, our main focus ought to be upon the Word of God, by which we will by the Spirit of God learn what is sound Doctrine, and having sound Doctrine, we can then exhort not only ourselves, but also all of our brothers and sisters in Christ, even as we Testify before those who have yet to believe. Amen.
