Are You Seeking First, God's Help?

Today's Verse is Psalm 30:10
Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me:
      LORD, be thou my helper.

Are you at the end of your own devices, not knowing where to turn, or have you learned to come first to the Lord when any decision has come upon you? Let it be known, and know for yourself that the Most High God is there to guide you into the way you ought to go. At times he requires one to shew a sign of good faith: David picking up the five stones and going forth to face the Giant, and at other times he demands that we Stand aside and allow him to work: Abraham and Sarah, waiting for the promised son, Issac. Knowing that there are many examples of both, we must always know that the Battle is the Lords, and in him we can trust. Amen.

To God be the Glory
