God Is Faithful To His Covenants

 

Today's Verse is 1 Kings 6:13

And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.

    If we read the verse before this one, we find that the above promise is conditional. Yet, as we read the scriptures, which we now know as the Bible, we find that some parts of it are not. For we have seen that the Most High God has been faithful with the descendants of Israel, even as he has suffered Long with them, keeping their Identity intact, even as they have forgotten and/or misunderstood him. And as he has promised, they will have a Glorious and Majestic End, which will cause the rest of us to Fear for the goodness God will give unto them. And in like manner, we that that have received Jesus Christ have a similar promise, both conditional and not, that he will never leave nor forsake us. Selah [Consider: Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:] Amen.
