How Important To You, Is God's Word?

 

Today's verse is Joshua 8:35

There was not a word of all that Moses commanded, which Joshua read not before all the congregation of Israel, with the women, and the little ones, and the strangers that were conversant among them. 

    We have been told that Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. So said Jesus to the tempter when he was tempted. Further, we find that the most sure of this Word is as Peter testifies: We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts[.] Any thing we hear, any thing that we see, any thing that we experience, needs to brought to and understood by the book which we have received of God, and preserved by him. Will you submit today to God and His Word? Amen.
