Being Ready To Hear: Have Not I Sent Thee.

 

Today's verse is Judges 6:14

And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? 

    Let us pay attention to these words: have not I sent thee? My first question is this, Have you received the gift of redemption through Jesus Christ? By this, we all that have received him, have been made ambassadors for Christ, to represent our Saviour to our neighbors that they too may learn of the same gift God has for them. However, for each of us, our God has a set purpose for us, which as we are faithful, he will reveal unto us in due course (if we are not faithful, we shall still fulfill that purpose, but without warning) Therefore, continue to learn of him, that you may be strong and of good courage, when you hear: have not I sent thee? Amen.
